Quinoa coping with drought, heat & salt stress

Watch our coordinator Sandra schmöckel presenting our project and explaining why some plants like QUINOA are better able to cope with drought, heat and salt stress aiming to prepare agriculture for extreme weather events and contribute to food security.

Conference contribution at ICARDA

Our Ilham Abidi presented our project at ICARDA in the conference of neglected and under utilized crops . Her presentation was "integrating quinoa into olive based agroforestry: A comprehensive assessement of system productivity and quinoa agronomic traits"
